KRISTIN SOBOCINSKI was the 1986 Serra MVP at St. Mary’s – Hales Corners.  She was a key contributor on the nationally ranked Pius XI High School basketball and volleyball teams.  After being chosen as a high school All American in volleyball, she chose to compete in that sport at the University of Wisconsin.
ANN KLAPPERICH was an All-Tournament selection for Sts. Mary and Joseph – Fond du Lac in 1990.  She capped a successful high school career at Goodrich by being named All-State and the 1994 Wisconsin female athlete of the year.  She went onto play at the University of Wisconsin where she earned All-Big Ten honors for the Badgers.
MARIA GALATI, an All-Tournament selection for St. Sebastian in 1991 went on to play for Wauwatosa East where she achieved All-Conference honors twice.  She went on to play at Illinois – Chicago.
KELLY AUGER was the 1994 Serra MVP for tournament champion St. Gregory the Great.  Kelly was a two-time pre-season All-American and the 1998 winner of the Miss Wisconsin Basketball award while at Pius XI High School.  Kelly played one year at Marquette University.
SHAWNA NICHOLS, the 1997 Padre Serra MVP, led the Holy Cross championship team.  Shawna was an All-state player at Pius XI High School and is currently playing on scholarship at the University of Wisconsin.
LIZ CHUDY of St. Matthias and CHRISTINE GUTIERREZ of St. Gregory the Great participated with their teams in the 1997 tournament. Liz and Christine rounded out coach Claasen’s “Fab 3” at Pius XI High School.  Both received scholarships to play at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
ANDREA NOVAK was named Padre MVP for runner-up St. Margaret Mary in the 1996 tournament.  She went on to a distinguished career at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School culminating in being named Metro Conference Player of the Year her Senior year.  Andrea is currently playing on a scholarship at Division II Michigan – Tech University.

Christine Rathke  was on the 1996 All-Tournament Selection team where she played for Sacred Heart of Jesus & Mary (Franklin).  A 2000 graduate of Franklin High School, she lead the Sabers to a State-Runner Up finish in the 98-99 season and an Elite 8 appearance in the 99-00 season.  She ended her high school career as Franklin's leading scorer.  She was named CNI newspaper Player of the Year in 1999 and 2000 as well as All-Area and All-State honorable mention.  She played collegially at Southeast Missouri State and UW-Parkside... while playing at SEMO, Christine was named to the Missouri Lady Tiger All-Tournament Team.   Christine passed away pre-maturely in an automobile accident on Feb 16th of 2003.  She was only 20 yrs old...

Shannon Robak was the Padre MVP in 1998 leading St. Alphonsus to the championship that year.  Shannon played basketball for four years at Pius XI High School.  Upon graduation, she received academic scholarships and grants and is now playing basketball for St. Norbert College in Green Bay, WI.
